Promoted to grade 6

On Saturday, 15 June 2013 I went to my school again to take my report card. I went there with my mom, my dad, and my sister. First, I went to my class first, 5B class. And I and my family have to wait first because there's still my friends that also waiting for taking their own report card that come faster than us. My mom and my dad take photos first. Until there's no people that taking their report card, my mom and dad come in first. Then I also went in to my classroom and see my homeroom teacher, Ms. Melly and Ms. Laura is speaking with my parents. Then my parents asked my rank and my teachers said that my rank is the 5th.
Then I take photo with m teachers and say goodbye to my teachers. Then, Nathan's mom gave us pmpek for us. Then we went to my sister's classroom and we also wait first. And when already our turn, my mom, dad, and sister went in to my sister's classroom but I wait outside. And when already finish, I went to Bellanova first then I go home.
Thank you all of my teachers that teach me in grade 5 that guide me to become a better person and also to all my friends that already accompany me for a year. Thank you.

Frictional Force

What is Frictional Force ?
Friction also can makes heat

Frictional force is a force that opposes motions. It is produce when there is two surfaces are rub against each other. Frictional force’s direction is the opposite of the object’s direction. Friction also can makes heat.

The Effects of Frictional Forces
  • Slows down or stops a moving objects
  • Prevent an object from starting to moves
  • Affects the movement of objects on different surfaces
Frictional Forces Slows Down or Stops Moving Object

  • Friction can slows down a moving objects or maybe stops it
  • If there is no friction, a moving object will cannot slows down and stop
Frictional Forces Prevent an Object from Starting to Moves

  • Friction can prevent an object to move
  • If we want to move the objects, we must overcome it’s friction first
  • The way to overcome friction is giving more force
Frictional Force Affects the Movement of Objects on Different Surfaces
  • Friction can affects the movement of an objects on different surfaces
  • Usually the rougher the surface, the bigger frictional force are there
  • And the smoother the surface, the smaller the frictional force are there

Resistances
  • Air Resistance
  • Water Resistance
What is Air Resistance?

The frictional force that acts on object trough air is called air resistance. Air resistance pushes against a moving objects and slows it down.

Frictional Forces in Everyday life
  • Frictional force can be useful
  • Frictional force can cause problems

Frictional Force that is Useful

  • Friction are useful for our daily live
  • If there is no grip, we will slip and slide away
  • If there is no friction, we will may not able to stop moving objects
Frictional Force that Makes Problems
  • Frictional force also can make problems such as :
  • Slows a moving object down
  • Causes engines to overheat
  • Tyres wear out
Ways to Reduce Friction
Use for example :
  • Lubricants
  • Rollers and wheels
