Long ago, on a ridge, stood three young trees. On a sunny day they drive their leaves in their bodies to the golden sun, while at night they whispered amongst breeze.
One night, under the sky sprinkled with silvery stars, they talk about their dreams.
"My wood is smooth and golden," said the first tree. "When I grow up, I want to be made into a crate to store the most precious treasure."
"My wood is hard and strong," said the second tree. "When I grow up, I want to be made into a warship ridden great king.
The third tree was down exposed by the wind. "I just want to stay here," he said, "And grew tall and good that the people who see me will direct their eyes to heaven."
The seasons come and go, and the three trees grow higher.
Then came the day when the three lumberjacks climb the hill.
One of them looked at the first tree. "The wood of this tree good, exactly like what I need," he said. With an ax, the tree toppled. "Maybe my dreams could come true," thought the tree.
Other lumberjacks standing under the second tree. "This wood is strong, just as I seek," he said. With an ax, the tree toppled. "Surely this is the beginning of the realization of my dreams," the tree said with a laugh.
Third lumberjack standing under a tree that remains. "Wood anyhow good enough for me," he muttered. He raised the ax. "And this is the end of my dream," wailed the third tree as his body fell to the ground.
A carpenter took the wood of the first tree. He measured carefully and formed with high skills, but he made just a simple manger. A farmer bought it and filled the manger with hay for livestock.
"I was not made into a treasure chest," the tree sighed sadly. "It's the end of my dream."
Then one night, when the stars seemed to dance in the dark of night, the tree heard soft voices in the cage. There are men and women who spent the night there. The man took the new hay and put it into manger, and then overlaying it with a blanket. That's where the woman lay her newborn baby.
Almost immediately, the first tree knew in her treasures stored , even the most valuable in the world .
A maker of wooden boats take a second tree . He measured carefully and formed with high skills , still he made just ordinary fishing boat . Night
after night , a lot of rough and cheerful man carrying ships sail on
windy lakes and storing their catch : the fish is fishy and slimy on the
ship .
"I'm not a big ship that brought a king to win , " sighed the tree . " It's the end of my dream."
One night a violent storm struck the lake . Ship crashing waves and almost destroyed the wood . Water continues to enter through the side of the ship , forced to go deeper and deeper into the lake .
"Help! We're going to drown ! " Cried the frightened fishermen.
They waking up the only man who was sleeping on the ship floor begging him to help fight the storm .
He smiled and stood up . " Shut up , " he said to the wind . " Calm down , " he said to the waves .
Instantly the lake was dead calm , and the second tree knew that the man who had spoken was the greatest king in the world .
The third tree was taken to sawmills . There he cut into thick bars and left alone in the open field , as if forgotten . The tree felt the heat of summer and cold of winter , but from the beginning he did know his dream was over .
One day , the third tree to hear the shouts . The soldiers marched into the sawmills . With rough , they pull them raise them to the cart and took him away .
The
third tree could feel himself charged on someone's shoulder , and he
was carried through the crowd of cheering people angry towards the top
of the hill bare and rocky .
On top of the hill was a person lying on it , and the nails were driven into his hands and feet . The third tree was appointed to stand up and driven into the ground in the shape of a cross . And on top of it hanging up his man to death .
The man's body was taken away . The third tree felt again during the evening and change , the same as before .
Then , on the third day , sunrise and wake around the world with tremendous excitement . The news prompted by a light breeze and echoed in the sky . Through the power of love of Heaven , the man who has been dead now rise again.
Then the third tree knew that his dream come true . Because humans will forever turn to see it , and they will remember the heaven .
